Step-by-Step Resolution
1. Check Router and Other Devices
Confirm your phone or another device can get online on the same Wi-Fi
If nothing works, restart your modem/router by unplugging power for 30 seconds
Plug back in and wait 2-3 minutes for it to fully restart
2. Toggle Wi-Fi on Your PC
Click the network icon in the taskbar
Turn Wi-Fi off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on
Reconnect to your usual network and re-enter the password if asked
3. Run Windows Network Troubleshooter
Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters
Run Internet Connections and follow the prompts
Apply any suggested fixes
4. Reset the Network Adapter
Right-click Start > Device Manager
Expand Network adapters
Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and choose Disable device
Wait a few seconds, then choose Enable device
Try connecting again
5. Use Network Reset (Last Resort)
Go to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings
Click Network reset
Click Reset now, then restart your PC
You'll need to reconnect to Wi-Fi and re-enter passwords
